Outpatient Programs at Fusion Recovery
Fusion Recovery’s outpatient programs span the full continuum of outpatient care — from the most intensive structured programming to ongoing recovery maintenance support. All levels allow you to live at home and maintain daily responsibilities while receiving structured clinical treatment.
Outpatient Treatment
Fusion Recovery’s outpatient programming covers the full outpatient continuum, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and standard outpatient care, providing the right level of clinical structure at every stage of recovery.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Structured, evidence-based care providing nine or more hours of clinical programming per week, individual therapy, group counseling, MAT where applicable, and skills-building, while you continue living at home and managing daily life.
Medical Detox
Clinically supervised withdrawal management for opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, and other substances, coordinated by board-certified physicians to ensure safe stabilization before active treatment begins.
Residential Reintegration Program
NY State 820-licensed transitional housing with MAT-friendly support, on-site counseling, case management, life skills development, and family engagement, for individuals transitioning from treatment to independent community living.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) at Fusion
MAT is the gold standard for opioid and alcohol use disorder, FDA-approved medications combined with counseling and behavioral therapies to reduce cravings, manage withdrawal, lower overdose risk, and improve treatment retention. Fusion Recovery offers the full range of MAT medications, including methadone through our OTP-certified program.
Methadone Treatment
A long-acting opioid agonist administered daily at our OTP-certified clinic, one of the most extensively studied and effective treatments for opioid use disorder. Patients on methadone are four times more likely to remain in treatment.
Suboxone Treatment
Buprenorphine/naloxone taken daily as a sublingual film or tablet — reduces opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms with a low misuse profile.
Sublocade Treatment
A once-monthly extended-release buprenorphine injection that eliminates daily dosing, provides consistent medication levels, and virtually eliminates misuse risk.
Naltrexone Treatment
A non-addictive opioid antagonist that blocks opioid and alcohol receptors — FDA-approved for both opioid and alcohol use disorder and available in oral daily form.
Buprenorphine Treatment
The active component in Suboxone, sometimes prescribed independently — partially activates opioid receptors to ease withdrawal and reduce cravings without producing a significant high.
Vivitrol Treatment
A once-monthly injectable form of naltrexone, providing consistent opioid and alcohol receptor blockade without daily dosing for longer-term relapse prevention.
Substance Abuse Evaluations & Assessments
Fusion Recovery provides comprehensive clinical substance abuse evaluations for individuals seeking to understand their treatment options, as well as those with court-ordered, employment, DUI/DWI, or child welfare evaluation requirements. Evaluations are conducted by licensed clinicians and delivered with the same confidentiality and professionalism as all clinical services at Fusion Recovery.
Co-occurring disorders require a clinical toolkit that addresses both addiction and mental health, and at Fusion Recovery, those tools work together rather than in isolation.
Court-Ordered Substance Abuse Evaluation
Clinical evaluations meeting New York court-ordered assessment requirements, thorough, documented, and delivered by licensed clinicians.

Comprehensive Assessment
