Partial Hospitalization Program
What is PHP?
At Fusion Recovery, our partial hospitalization program helps clients step down from their drug of choice through a medical outpatient detox process, including helping clients on Methadone step down to a safer and more life managing solution.

What to Expect from Partial Hospitalization Programs
Individual Therapy
Individual counseling is one of the most important and beneficial therapies in substance abuse rehabilitation. At Fusion Recovery, our licensed therapists will help you identify the patterns, behaviors, and thoughts that led to your addiction by using evidence-based treatment modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). We will address underlying issues and co-occurring disorders that lead to substance use disorders. Addiction counseling is an effective way to begin and continue your recovery.
Group therapy
Group therapy is central to addiction treatment. During group therapy, you will learn and practice important life skills and improve your communication skills. Group counseling is also highly effective in supporting recovery, developing coping skills, and improving your engagement in treatment. As part of our comprehensive treatment program, group therapy will give you a better understanding of your experiences and emotions and a more positive outlook on recovery.Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, is the use of medications in combination with evidence-based therapies. MAT is clinically effective in treating opioid use and alcohol use disorders and aids in easing withdrawal symptoms for other substances. Integrating MAT into a treatment plan sets our clients up for long-term success and helps sustain recovery. We focus on life and societal reintegration skills. We provide group therapy, individual therapy, and a 12-step based program. Our proven therapies include CBT, DBT, psychodrama, psychoeducation, and vocational and occupational therapies. Partial hospitalization programs are evidence-based and proven highly effective. These programs allow clients to receive continued support for their addiction and co-occurring disorders and provide life skills necessary for a successful recovery. How Long Does PHP Last?
These types of programs differ in that outpatient programs typically require less hours of treatment and PHP’s tend to be more intensive, requiring more time at the treatment facility. While an outpatient program may require 2-4 hours a few days a week, PHP’s tend to require closer to 4-6 hours most days of the week. Partial hospitalization programs are intended to be short term and prepare you for outpatient rehab programs.
